SCOTT CLAYBROOK, LEAD PASTOR
Scott was born and raised up the road in Franklin, TN. After feeling called to ministry in high school, Scott attended Belmont University where he studied in the College of Theology and Christian Ministry. While at Belmont, Scott met the love of his life, Joy. They were married in 2010 and now have two sons, Griffin and Joel.
Following his time at Belmont, Scott moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he completed his seminary training at the McAfee School of Theology (Mercer University). Scott and Joy attended and served at Grace Midtown Fellowship in Atlanta where they developed a love for ministering alongside young adults. Prior to coming to Kings Cross as Lead Pastor, Scott served as the Minister to Young Adults at First Baptist Church Knoxville.
He and Joy believe strongly in the transformative power of the Gospel and are deeply passionate about helping individuals and families experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus.
Scott loves Atlanta Braves baseball, good books, glazed donuts, and spending time with people over lunch.
